Breeding: Egg-scatterer. Natural pairing is common, and breeding may occur spontaneously.
Diet: Omnivorous. Small meaty items and live or frozen foods; also plenty of green foods and algae. May eat smaller fish.
Behavior: This fish does not harass invertebrates. The tank should provide many rocky shelters. Their territorial requirements are not great; if tank size permits, several may be kept together.
Comments: May eat other smaller fish, keep in seperate tanks from smaller fish.
